City Life: Exciting Opportunities Ahead

If you follow me on Instagram and Twitter, you know that last week the hubster and I took a day trip to Atlanta. We had some very exciting business to take care of – business that unfortunately cannot yet be disclosed. I will say, however, life-changing, mind-blowing things are a’brewing for Foxy Oxie Supernova, and I hope you come along for the ride! Seriously though, one of my craziest dreams is about to come true, and I cannot wait until the day I can share it with you! Just a few details left to work out and looooots of planning to do in a very short period of time. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled! And make sure you follow me on InstagramTwitter and Facebook for more hints of my overwhelmingly exciting news!
So while we were in Atlanta, we decided to make a day of it with a little shopping, a little exploring. We stopped by IKEA for more mirrors (remember this DIY project?), had a truly amazing Thai experience at Nan Thai Fine Dining and did a little “sight-seeing” at the Atlantic Station. Later, as we wandered aimlessly around the city, as one of my fave bloggers recently put it, “welcoming the familiar feeling of walking somewhere we haven’t before,” I was once again reminded of how much I love {and desperately need!} the exciting energy of new opportunities big cities always offer!
Do you think the city you’re from, or the city you reside in, is a determining factor of your success as a fashion blogger? Can the same question be applied to a different profession? Does moving to a big city automatically give you an advantage in achieving your dream? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

  1. Oh Oksana thank you so much for your email! I saw it right now.. but I’m going out right now to celebrate my grandpa’s birthday!! I’ll answer to it with more detail when I come back!! :):)

  2. I am soooooo excited to find out what is happening! Sounds a lot of fun!
And to your question at the bottom, I do think the city you reside in is a determining factor of your success. I don’t think you need to come from a big city, but I definitely think that the city you’re from (or live in) reflects on your style and way of being and in that way would be a determining factor….. hmmmm I’m getting confused just thinking about it.
